The Raspberry Jamboree, taking place in Manchester, started this morning. I’m very pleased to say that both myself (@recantha) and Tim Richardson (@geeky_tim) will be attending for the whole day tomorrow, including the party which has been organised by the brilliant Lisa Mather. So, if I’m quiet for today and tomorrow on the blog, you’ll know why! We’ll be getting up at silly-o’clock (4.30am!) and then I’ll pick Tim up and we’ll be driving to Milton Keynes Central to catch the train to Manchester. We’ll be on the 6:46am train if anyone else is travelling up!
If you’re going to the Jamboree, watch out for us tomorrow: I’ll be the one wearing a Pi and a NeoPixel ring round my neck (and probably cursing the weight of it) and a rucksack on my back. Tim will be the one with a little LCD screen poking out of his shirt pocket flashing messages at you.
If you’re not able to attend, you can follow the action on Twitter with the hashtag #RJamboree.
I hope to meet some of you lovely people in Manchester! And don’t forget – if you’re going and you haven’t booked your party tickets yet – do so now! It’s only £3.50 and there’s lots of swag to be had and lots of games to play!
