Twitter-er Helen Lynn (@helenlynn) has spotted an event occurring as part of the Cambridge Science Festival.
The event is happening on Saturday 23rd March from 1pm-5pm at the Institute for Manufacturing. This is just over the road from the Madingley Park and Ride, making it very easy and accessible. It’s quite a way from the train station, though, so check the local bus timetables if you’re coming by train.
Here’s what the CSF website says about the event:
The Raspberry Pi is a small low-cost computer that aims to encourage everyone to learn more about computing and digital making. Its creators will be hosting a range of demos, competitions and hands-on activities. They would also love to hear about your own Raspberry Pi projects, so why not bring a photo or even better a SD-card to demo! There will be prizes for the best projects seen on the day!

I’m hoping to attend (with my pipodcorder, God willing!) and it’ll be good to meet some Cambridge-based RasPi people.
