Hayden Tetley and Scott Turner have created a robot out of a drinks can, an electric motor and a Pi. They’ve used the PiRoCon motor board to control the motor and a lot of sticky tape! See the video below. You can read much more about it by visiting their blog, in particular this post.
Thank you for posting this. The project has been going for a few years and has revolved around turning ‘junk’ into bots. The raspberry pi (and a few weeks earlier LEGO NXT) have been used and a little bit of control a little more detail about the project can be found at http://junkbots.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/junkbot-raspberry-pi-3-controlling.html
