Upgraded garden drip system with OpenSprinkler and Raspberry Pi

Minimal Raspbian distribution for Raspberry Pi updated for Pi 2

Minibian, which is a minimal Linux distribution for the Pi that fits on a 512MB SD card, has been updated for the Pi 2. This is the 4th release of the operating system and is sure to be a hit with those who like their distro slim and speedy to boot. Read more and download here.

Load custom maps into Raspberry Pi version of Minecraft

Simon Johnson has written a brief tutorial on how to import a custom map into Minecraft: Pi Edition. It’s pretty straightforward and you’ll soon have things like night-time and animals. This doesn’t turn it into ‘survival mode’ but it does mean you can transfer interesting environments onto the Pi.Read how to do it here.
